Watercolour batik

I have been working on some watercolour batiks, a process of building layers of wax and paint in order to make your painting. The painting is finally revealed when you remove the wax, I love the effect. Both of these pieces are 12 x 12cm. Hope you like them.

Wonderful textures in both of these. I enjoyed them both. I also like the "Paradise" painting you are working on.

Love these! I have been "messing about" with watercolor batiks as well, so I appreciate your work. I will be giving a workshop on the process next month. Can't wait to share. It seems as if more of us are "playing" with wax! Love your work!
